ASAPbio’s Preprint Reviewer Recruitment Network aims to help researchers, especially ECRs, break into reviewing or editing roles by sharing their comments and reviews of preprints as examples of their work.
Comments and feedback to preprints can occur in many forms. We are partnering with PREreview to host a live-streamed preprint journal club, an opportunity for researchers in the Network to experience a live, collaborative review of a preprint, and be publicly recognized for their contributions as part of a group. This will also be an opportunity for researchers to learn some tips on how to peer review and apply these learnings by reviewing a preprint.
On November 16, 2021 at 12pm ET (check your local time), PREreview will facilitate a virtual event where participants are invited to contribute constructively to the review of a preprint by writing their feedback in this google doc, by speaking their comments, or both.
The fruits of the discussion will contribute to a review of the preprint that will be shared on the free and open platform for preprint review PREreview, with participants’ contributions acknowledged.
