The ASAPbio Fellows program aims to provide participants with resources, tools and contacts to allow them to drive discussions about the productive use of preprints in the life sciences. The program will also allow Fellows to help shape and develop ASAPbio strategic initiatives, or to take forward a project of their choice.
Our 2022 Fellows program is now open for applications until 25 March 2022.
The Fellows program will run from April to November 2022, participants will engage in a schedule of activities including:
- Orientation week that will cover an overview of the program and the preprint landscape, and the selection of projects
- Monthly sessions covering different preprint-related topics such as preprint review activities, preprints in the broader publishing context, handling conversations about preprints, and more
- Fellows will be invited to help develop one of the ASAPbio initiatives below, or can choose and develop their own preprint project
- Preprints in Progress campaign
- Crowd preprint review activities
- Visibility and recognition of preprint reviews
- Campaign for awareness and recognition of preprints in India
The ASAPbio Fellows are also part of the larger ASAPbio Community; by joining the Fellow program, you will also receive updates around preprints, and have opportunities to connect with others interested in preprints and science communication.
