One important aspect from @jessicapolka of #preprint acceptance is to make them open, not just free, as the majority of #preprints are not open access. #BMTS19 #ASAPbio 13/n

The other problem with this proposal is that it reinforces the current paradigm where "curated" papers acquire a patina of truth that's hard to refute subsequently. One of motivations of #asapbio is to abandon this harmful premise. See for a recent e.g.:
